Well, if you are in Singapore, worry not. Day or night, Singapore is a hub of activities. From middle of the night desserts or dumplings in Little India to bar hopping, movies, strolling along the river, Singapore has enough to keep visitors and locals busy far into the night.

“Oh no! Not a bird park again”. This was my immediate response to my friend’s suggestion of visiting a bird park in Singapore. How was it going to be different from the ones I had visited in other countries?

It was not the first time I was flying business class. It was not my first time with Singapore Airlines either. But the combination was. And I was looking forward to it. 🙂
As long as I remember, the first time I flew Singapore Airlines was sixteen years back in the year 2000 from Sydney to Mumbai via Singapore. Since then I have been a great fan of them. There are more memories to that journey to be told later; here I will tell you how this reunion was with the airlines.
Mumbai – Singapore sector … it wasn’t a very long flight like 10-12 hours but I got a chance to experience the business class of the airlines.
Last week when I visited Singapore, it did not fail to surprise me yet again. Singapore has always been a tourist’s hub. Be it India or any other country across the world, its charm has attracted thousands every year and continue to do so. No wonder, I say it’s my favourite too!
Another year has passed and it’s time to stop and look back; take stock of my journeys, not only in terms of travel but the journeys which opened a new horizon for me and helped me see the world with diverse perceptions.
I know it is so cliché to reflect back but it’s something I have been doing all these years…. to see how enriching my walk has been.
Did I achieve something in year 2015?
Yes and No.
If you ask me one reason why I like Chinese New Year, my reply would be that it’s very colorful and exotic. The streets and houses are decorated with red and golden lamps & lanterns of different shapes and designs, the markets are buzzed with all kinds of gift items, decorative pieces and flower and there is a festive mood everywhere.

Another year has passed and it’s time to look back and take stock of my journeys, not only in terms of travel but the journeys which opened a new horizon in front of me and helped me see the world with diverse perceptions.
As I always say, I count my memories, not the places and I am happy that my travel memories are far more and better than the destinations.
