On 13th March, 2016 over 100 cities across the globe walked in their respective cities and towns covering their respective heritage sites, singly or in groups.
Why not Mumbai then?

Ambling around the city or older part of Mumbai gives us excellent visual delights of its rich heritage & history. One can see many main buildings, offices, showcasing the same. From Gateway to Fort to Victoria Terminus, our eyes are never tired to see them.

World Heritage Day
Today is World Heritage Day. There are 30 World Heritage sites in India, and 981 in the whole world. Can anybody visit them in one life? Yes, I know of a person who visits only Heritage sites and he’s been doing it for last 6 years! Slowly, one by one.
While I am not fortunate enough to be like him, I am contended with my own pace. When I look at the pictures of the sites I’ve visited, I feel quite happy.

A day in Malacca – Malaysia’s red town
As I alight from a luxurious bus from Kuala Lumpur, the first thing I notice about Malacca is its distinctive color. Standing there on the road I turn full circle and cannot believe my eyes. The buildings, doors, the pavements, and even the hoardings… everything in the vicinity is red.
